VADIR ASSIST VADIR Data Collection Tool

Federal law requires that each state determine annually which public elementary and secondary schools are “persistently dangerous”. New York bases its determination on two years’ worth of VADIR (Violent and Disruptive Incident Reporting) data. VADIR data is to be reported to the state annually, via the BEDS online internet application.

The Merging Technologies Group, LLC has developed a simple and yet efficient tool to coincide and assist with the state required VADIR data collection.

Our objective is to aid the school administrators and security officers with the tedious and time consuming task of recording all of the violent incidents, by providing streamlined data input screens, as well as one-click summary reporting.

The system will also enable school personnel to not only enter their VADIR data and produce required annual summary report, but to also produce reports using any combination of the VADIR data elements entered.
