Student Emergency Contact System

This system will link to any ODBC-compliant School Database. You may link to your current school system to retrieve school id numbers, student names and any emergency contact information available, as well as student allergies. Student photos and emergency contact photos may also be linked.

Your school system will need to generate bar-coded student ID cards. Otherwise, an ID system will be needed. The school generated student ID number should be the bar-coded number on the ID cards. This will uniquely identify the student within the system.

Once the student ID card has been scanned, using one of several recommended barcode scanners, the scanned student ID will be located in the student database and the name and picture of the student will be presented to a computer monitor, with all of their stored emergency contact information.

If a student does not have their ID card, you may manually search for that individual in the student database and select them, once located.
